Description This one's been quite enjoyable to play around on. Started with a quite a but of bryce3d (thats right, screw 3dsmax) modeling. I rendered it at 3200x2400 overnight. Then I completely dissasembled the render and messed around in photoshop for about 4 hours , trying to make it robot-esq. I haven't used any filters, everything is simple layer manipulation. Its heavily inspired by the "gundam" series and "heavy gear" video games

I might work more on this, but I don't know what kind of background or anything I'd put in.

Also, sorry about the dimensions, it was going to be a wallpaper but that just didn't work.

EDIT, took shiro's advice and added a black boarder.

Good Lord. Usually I don't liek symetrical images because they aren't done very well, but this is one of the ones that actually looks like it's meant to be symetrical. Awesome work.

*looks like he just woke up in a surgery room, starts screaming and runs outside, on the street, then gets run over by an old man on a bike*

That's a cool gear I like how some parts of it fade into the white background.

Well done!

nice work...the top renders are great but the white you have is objectively to sharp of a fade, maybe smudging it to seem like more of a smoky edge would help, if teh white is an individual layer, maybe feathering the selection around 40-60 and clearing it...then fad the amount of clear, but then again it is only a suggestion.

When you have a piece with alot of white space, its good to put a nice black border around it to help contain all that space, and ehance the power of the white.

Its color theory really and makes no sense, but just take my word for it.

It looks great, and frankly i like it enough to fav it.
