Rin thought it would be funny to challenge Len to a fighting game (all in good fun, of course). Rin thought that she could beat him easily, given how the controller is almost as big as he is. Unfortunately for her, Miku had taught him well in such matters. Rin thought she could beat Len. She was wrong.So very wrong.

That would be a bit of a stretch, but I believe I could pull of combos no matter what smaller size I am of the controller. I'd better be able to reach the buttons and the D-pad though XD. This is what you get in real life (sorta). Actual people communicating socially regardless of size.

....how can you do well in a fighting game if you have run back and forth between doling the motion and pressing the button?

he's using the control stick to move around. His arms are long enough to reach both the stick and the buttons. for bigger tricks, he uses his legs.

I figure how he uses it. Motions are just too fast in fighting games to be limited like that, unless there were shortcuts for him.
Now if it was a VS. Puzzle Game like Magical Drop, I could definitely see that.

Either way, as an competitive fighting game player just can't see him winning with that type of limitation. There's some fast movements to be had and that's kinda hard to do.
....unless she's really bad. Then sure, that'll happen no matter what you use.

He has been trained well. Remember, actual martial artists can move dang fast in real life. Why can't he do similar?

I'm a martial artist myself. Yes, they can move fast but I question doing a quarter circle forward motion then you have to move your whole body one way and then go back to press the attack button. And super motions (especially if this was a SNK made or Marvel Vs series game) are pretty much out of the question.
..however I guess that's only as far as special moves are involved. If it's just normal fighting with normals, spacing pokes, it's feasible enough. Just don't expect him to do great at any execution heavy games.

like i pointed out before, he can reach both the control stick AND the buttons. And if need be, he can always use his foot to hit the further button, or to kick the control stick one way while slamming on two buttons with his hands.

Still going to be pretty rough. That's one hell of a work out no matter what happens.
Control stick on a PS2 pad sucks for fighting games. He could do well at 3D games (like Tekken or Soul Calibur) though.

Sorry for being intensive on this shot. Seeing people talk about fighting games when they don't play them competitively irks me some, even though I know that makes me sound close minded and offensive (although I'm not trying to be offensive to you) . Just a topic I know a lot about and want to see done informatively.

FT10 is short hand for First To Ten, specifically "first to ten wins", between two players or teams of players. It can go for other things like FT5, FT20, even as high as FT100.
Not so much inaccuracy as I had things to point out about it. It's probably SOMEWHAT feasible, I mean, there is a guy who's a top player that plays with one hand, half of another and his mouth.

He might be small.. but the graceful controller movements will be shocking for anybody.
He would even win at Dance Dance Revolution I bet because of his sheer speed. (Notice: Obviously the dance mat would have to be sensitive to low weights XD).
