Alma couldn’t have been happier, she had a wife and a stable career as an equine vet, a decent piece of property with a perfect sized barn in Texas that would bring in more business for her as an emergency vet than it would in North Carolina, everything was great the only thing what was missing though was her mom, Ellen, she had lost her battle with cancer just a few months after the wedding and it still hurt, scrawling out the last thank you cards for the wedding guests she threw her pen down her eyes landing on a picture from the wedding photos of Her and her mom along with wings and king. A bittersweet smile appeared on her face as she looked out the window out to the pasture where Lacey and Holly were taking photos of Wings, Raven, Bandit, and chance to put on the website for Alma’s clinic, she knew she would be okay, but it still felt wrong without her mother by her side.-----------------
So kinda proud of how this turned out. I'm going to miss Ellen but she was always going to pass as it's part of the original story line way before I had a da, and I plan on keeping a lot of the original plot unfortunately this is one of the one's that was kept

I do too it was one of the hardest things to draw D: I always imagined alma being a mommas girl and it's going to play a big part of the plot line in the future.
