Now when I first met you I did'nt know what to thinkFor some reason you just seemed different
I layed in the grass and waited for the hours to pass
As usual time just came and went
I don't know what made me go outside that day
But I'm sure glad that I did
Cause I met this girl
And I'd do anything for this kid
She's wise and sweet
Yet civil and strong
Her patience is deep
And she makes me belong
In a world so divided by who you are
You've managed to shine just like a star
Stay true to yourself, your hopes, your dreams
Ignore what people say, It doesn't mean a thing
Cause without a doubt
You're pretty on the inside and out
