my current progress on my outfit for my steampunk RP character.the spats right now re placeholder ones until i get my butt back on the sewing machine, and i haven't finished filing down the lenses for my goggles.

It's very good, I dig the gun and the fact you have a walking stick. It seems like you could be a normal old fellow walking down the street and then BAM whip out a gun at the first sign of trouble.
Only two things bug me here:
1. You're wearing blasted jeans.
2. You have the goggles on your tophat.
The thing I don't like about goggles being on tophats is that it's completely pointless, your character is not the type who would be working somewhere in which he needed goggles and if he DID, why would he keep them on his tophat where they are hard to get down and over his eyes?

Jeans were the closest thing i had at the time of that photoshoot, have appropriate trousers now.
The goggles thing, some love, some hate.
He does get in the situations where goggles are needed, just not in this outfit, more an accessory.
