The walls hold tight to heat and light
A joyous scene within
The walk is cast in rainbow light
The faces we all know
Arrive to follow twinkling guides
Across the fallen snow
Gifts are given with a smile
Room is made for all
The spell the season casts so well
Holds everyone in thrall
Let the spirits gather
Open hearts to light
Shine forth golden candles
Driving back the night
The travelers head out slowly
All those we hold so dear
We may not see or hear again
Until this time next year
If I were to cast a wish
Upon the rising dawn
Light fill each and every heart
This season and beyond.
