From one of my classes last quarter.

Plaster gauze, plaster of paris, tea stained sheet music (various Tower of Power songs for Bari sax which is the sex ), and yarn.

The assignment was patterns. I chose to use music as my "pattern" in that first off, sheet music is a series of dots and lines that are repeated in an infanite amount of combinations to produce a readable piece. Likewise the music itself is a repeated series of notes/sounds and silences. I also wanted to show how music especially for me personally gets under my skin and almost becomes a part of me. Like it is part of the very core of my being.

A special thanks to my friend Emily who helped me plaster myself one night in the art building.
