Description

Trying out the new headgear I just bought from

Much better than what I'd used in the past.

If your character has long hair, it'd be best if you put it in a ponytail. I used this one:

The morphs that come with the hair made anything that poked through the headgear really easy to hide, and the color and blending options let you mimic the color of another hairstyle. Even a two-tone style like Patti's:

It's always good to discuss it. I think, headgear makes the fight less hard and hides the faces. This headgear looks pretty much like an trojan or Greek helmet. AI love the girls even if their faces show some bruises.

I assume that you post these test images for a variety of reasons, one of which is to possibly get feedback!

if that is so, then I can tell you that I don't care much for the headgear at all ... for a couple of reasons.

First, the action in the W.T.F.B.A. is brutal - some, like me, would say brutally sexy!!!!  And the headgear doesn't mesh with that.

But second, and of much more importance, the fighters who compete in the W.T.F.B.A. are beautiful ... down to pretty much every single girl.  And I think the headgear takes away from that ... they look much better without it.

Just my opinion, of course ... and I always defer to the prerogative of the artist in question when it comes to their own work.

Well, I don't intend to do a whole fight in headgear, or anything like that. But, when it comes to the more sport related aspects of my stories, I want to at least attempt to ground them in reality. So, I tend to ask myself, "Would a real pro boxer do this?"
Would a real boxer risk injuring their face while training before a fight, having the fight get canceled and not getting paid, by sparring without any protection? No. So, if I want a story to include any scenes of sparring before a fight, even if it's just a couple of images, I need to be able to put them in headgear.

That was actually a very good response!

I can actually buy into that ... the fact that the girls would want to protect themselves and limit the chances of injury before a big match, especially if it was a high-profile one, like a title match or something along those lines.

I think that showing a few images here and there of the fighters getting in some sparring sessions would fit in with what you have going from a story perspective.

I was looking at it from the standpoint of having actual matches in headgear, which wouldn't have worked ... but you were looking at the big picture.  See!  This is why I defer to the prerogative of the artists.  They always have a better handle on what is going on.

Thanks for responding to my post!

I wanted it to match the gloves.

I'd call it a success then.
