Description A lonely cherry tree
Sits on the edge of this busy road.
Unseen as people pass by
Fiddling with tiny cell phones
And colossal coffee cups
The tree sits among the dying grass
That was once wildflowers
Of deep purple and red
And disgusting trash
Thrown casually out of windows
As they pass by.
But it flourishes
Stands tall and proud
A lone survivor of the modern world.
Newborn buds adorn its branches
And its graceful boughs
Reach heavenward
Toward the cool, dusky sky

nature survives and makes us look shallow and small next to it,
your poem is really beautiful
