They cameThey always do
Weeping their inky tears
Into her gentle porcelain palms
Wanting to become the person she saw them as
When they looked into her eyes
Never seeing her
These boys
Trying so hard to be men
Wrote their stories across her
Fact, fiction, myth
All the same
Trying to get it right
Or at least to sound right
Upon their hollow ears
All the while
She sat silent
Letting their words
Seep into her body
Like poison
Flowing through her darkening veins
Until their wells ran dry
And her parchment was used up
And then
Just as quickly
They leave
And she silently washes their words away
With her crystal tears
Until all that is left
Are the faint stains
Of their lies
And she waits
For more to come
They always do,

i love it. how u tell us about this girl just using the imagery of writers, pushing themselves thru words (stories, lies, loves and lust) into your soul, and how she survives and comes thru stained but almost new, waiting, cause she just cant help herself

that's awesome babe. i liek it bundles and oodles. very meloncholy and graceful.... it's a bit odd when in the second to last stanza the tense changes, but it's also wonderful. i don't knoiw. lalalala lovely.
