Description
I wanted to try the draw it again meme and my old null piece seemed like a good fit to go since I was very proud of it in high school.
5 years later have really changed my drawing style quite a bit. The second one was made with Paint Tool Sai while the original was created on paper and pencil.
The original was also scanned and resized to fit the frame, which is why there seems to be finer detail while the new piece was drawn on the frame as-is.
I tried going for that old sketchy look that I seem to like so much, trying to recreate the feeling of the original while using my current skills to improve on the form.
I also modified the contrast of the original to make for a better comparison.
