Description
The School FestivalWith Dokuro gone, everything went back to the normal track. Although Victor was visibly upset that the girls were the ones who defeated Dokuro, he certainly did't lose spirit and continued what he does best: to hunt vampires. As for Midori and the other members of the Music Club, they returned to practising for their debut at the School Festival.
One day before the School Festival:
*Aaaand done!* Fubuke signaled, ending the rehersal.
*Wow, this was perfect!* Alan exclaimed.
*As you say, Alan-senpai!* the Yuki-Onna did a thumbs-up.
*I think we dont have to worry.* Maya added. *We got this. Midori is especially in sync since Dokuro is done.*
*Really, Maya-chan?* Midori asked.
*What are you speaking about, your play was flawless!* Fubuki told her.
*Well, thank you!* the green-haired girl blushed.
*I say, lets rock the Fesival tomorrow!* Alan smirked.
*YEAH!* the others cheered as well.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nightwing looked on from the window of his office room, where Mira was present.
*Is there something you want to discuss, Mr. Nightwing?* Mira asked.
*Well, thanks to all of you, Dokuro is dead. We don't to worry about him anymore. You know, since she attended the school, Miss Hanakawa grew a lot. She is perfecting her plant-manipulation abilities and has greater control of her Full Elemental Form. And then there is Dokuro's daughter...*
*You mean Maya?*
*Yes. That girl also holds an immense potential. It is really a shame how Dokuro treated her.*
*At least she got her payback by killing her father.*
*And with that, she freed herself from her shackles. Maya is a strong-willed individual, just like Agate.*
*Midori, too. I am glad they became friends.* Mira stated. *When I first met Midori, she was a shut-in, a shy girl. But now, she is more cheerful and active.*
*Because she met you.*
*Met... with me?*
*Yes.* Mr. Nightwing nodded. *It was the friendship between her and you which changed her life. Your upbeatness and positivity made their mark on her.*
*If so, I'm happy if she is happy.* Mira smiled. *Midori is my precious friend, after all.
Afterwards, Mira and Mr. Nightwing discussed other things, such as the Chosen Ones and the possible future of the Nightwing Academy...
One day later, the School Festival has come. Every club had their own event, while the members of the Music Club were waiting in front of the concert hall. Before them, Agate gave an astonishing performance.
*Wow, this is the first time I am hearing her singing!* Alan exclaimed. *It is simply beautiful.*
*Well, she isn't called the Angel of Darkness for nothing!* Fubuki stated.
*Still, I am a little nervous.* Midori said and looked at herself. Her performance outfit was a short green yukata, with pink cherry-blossom patterns on it. Her green hair was tied into a bun, with some flower decorations.
*A little stage-fright is normal.* Maya smiled. The half-vampire wore a red and black short dress for the performance.
*Just do our best, like during our rehersals.* Alan added. He wore a full suit complete with a tie.
*Alright, lets show what the Future Dreamers is about!* Fubuki exclaimed. The Yuki-Onna wore a long light-blue kimono, with white snow-patterns.
*YEAH!* the others bumped their fists with her.
Outside, a large crowd of people were seen. Chris, Matori, Agate, Victor, Joey and many others were present, even Scarlet, Harbringer, Anette, Serena, Chrysoprase, Nagin, Amanda and so on.
Joey was seen clad in his ninja outfit.
*Joey-kun, I think you should have brought some more... formal clothes.* Agate teased.
*Blame the weather.* Joey pointed at the sky, showing the shining sun.
*You have a point.* Agate covered her face with her hood.
Then, as the stage was set, the members of the Music Club entered.
*I hope you have a good day, Nightwing Academy!* Fubuki shouted into the microphone. *This is our band, Future Dreamers!*
*Our first song will go toward all of you!* Midori announced. *To all who supports and believes in us!*
Then the instruments were being played and the performance began. While playing, Midori felt passion. Such passion she have never experienced before.
*So this is... the thrill of performance?* she thought.
*Wow, they are so good!* Matori exclaimed.
*Four different instruments and yet... in sync and harmony.* Chris added.
*This is them, the Future Dreamers.* Mira smiled.
Afterwards, the second performce came. Fubuki, Midori, Alan and Maya all gave in everything into their performance when... suddenly Agate jumped into the stage.
*Agate-san!* Midori exclaimed in shock.
*Bring on the music!* Agate exclaimed. *It is time for the surprise co-op performace!*
*But you did not informed us!* Maya added.
*Well, she informed me...* Fubuki gave an awkward smile.
*Oh my.* Alan sighed.
*Here is the mic!* Fubuki threw the microphone to Agate, who began to sing.
Although they were surprised, the other Music Club members nevertheless backed Agate up.
*Well, she did tell me she would like to perform together with me.* Midori thought.
During the performance, everybody, including the Future Dreamers themselves began to sing alongside Agate. A song about moving forward, never giving up and always fighting for our dreams. It was a big hit. As it ended, everybody was clapping and cheering for Agate and the Music Club.
*Agate is really spectacular.* Scarlet said.
*They have the guts, thats for sure!* Anette remarked.
As the performance was coming to its end, the other members of the Mystical Five gathered at the front of the stage.
*I hope you enjoyed our performance!* Agate said.
*We are the Future Dreamers!* Fubuki said. *By the bass guitar was me, Fubuki! I am the president of the Music Club.* She then looked at Midori. *And by the shamisen is playing Midori-chan, my precious right-hand girl!*
This caused Midori to blush.
*By the drums is Alan-senpai! Our passionate gunner boy! Of course at last, but not least... Maya-chan who plays the flute!* Fubuki continued.
*And I am Agate, the Angel of Darkness!* Agate added. *Thanks again, for coming!*
The audience cheered at them. The Music Club members looked on everyone who came. They looked at each other and smiled. Midori even began to shed tears of joy seeing that so many people liked their concert.
As the sun was setting and the festival continued, Chris, Matori, Agate, Joey and Mira were meeting up with Midori, who was playing her shamisen under a tree, a little far from the others.
*Huh, not enjoying the Festival?* Mira asked. *Even though the concert was a big success.*
*You know, I am just thinking.* Midori said. *About my future.*
*Well, whatever you choose, I think if someone can achieve it, it is you.* Chris responded.
*Yes, but... all of you have already your own goal. Chris wants to work by the police, Matori is a karate champion, Agate is a rising star, Joey is working hard as a ninja and Mira is... on her way to become a doctor.*
*I still have a long way to go.* Mira admitted. *The university is tough.*
*You know, after this performance...* Midori stood up. *I have decided. Just like Agate, I want to make people happy with my music.*
Agate patted her shoulder:
*I think you choose well. This day showed that you have the talent. It depends on you, how you utilize it.*
*But watch out.* Matori added. *Every road is filled with bumps.*
*But stand up, even after you fall.* Joey said. *Every success and mistake is an experience which helps us to grow.*
*And one more thing...* Mira stated. *You can always count on us. We are all friends, after all.*
*Guys.* Midori's eyes were filled with tears. *Thank you!* she hugged Mira, while the others jumped in to a group hug.
Mira then looked at the setting sun and reminescenced: The first time she met them, when they faced together with numerous foes, including Nero, Lamur, Coco and Dokuro. She remembered the first time she met with Midori, all the fun times they had together, including their adventure into a certaim world of Magic. These times will be all remembered and even if they will go on their separate ways, they will remain together inside their heart.
