Welcome to McIntyre Technologies! We make Science Fiction a reality!

  • About us: Since 2032, McIntyre Technologies has been the world leader in electronics, robotics, bio-augmentation, and technological research and development. Our clientele spans from government-funded organizations, to local electronics store chains, to worldwide science communities. Our customers’ responses have been so positive in the last 6 years (as of 2039), that the face of technological innovation has seen a massive overhaul that has truly pushed the boundaries of creativity and design. Part of our great success lies in our internal science department, allowing us to research and test our own products firsthand before selling them, without needless guesswork or assumptions based on user ratings or statistical data alone. In addition, this also allows us to explore new fields of science to apply for better products, as we put the customers’ wants in mind first, building our devices around the best possible environment a user would want in their daily routines. If you are interested in further details, visit our website at "mcintyretechnologies.comm", or feel free to visit our corporate headquarters, located in Watsonwood, Texas at 7328 Zulu Boulevard, three blocks from the nearby factory facility, on 7166 Echo Drive.  We hope to make the latter half of the 21st century a true realization of what science fiction predicted, in the best way possible!

  • Research
  • Robotics: Robots drive the production process behind our company, but we are also looking into the feasibility of creating true autonomous droids for human service, ranging from humanoid servant robots, to probe-launched explorer droids for space exploration.
  • Artificial Intelligence: The Holy Grail of computer scientists everywhere, we have taken on the challenge of designing a program that can think. Our research has included extensive studies of fictional media depicting where AI would “go wrong”, and taking careful measures not to make the same mistakes, as well as noting concepts that work, such as Isaac Asimov’s laws of robotics and his designs of the positronic brain. We hope one day to create an AI that can truly think, but not fall prey to a human’s negative emotions.
  • Software: We have painstakingly developed the programs that run our products, hand-coded by hundreds of programmers every day. Our current focus is on security software to protect end users and deter hackers or scammers, and our ongoing work includes self-adapting firewalls that patch holes milliseconds after they appear while blocking viruses and other malware simultaneously. This will extend to cyberspace in the form of Intrusion Countermeasure Electronics, as a physical firewall for users themselves.
  • Cyberspace: This untapped frontier of data and electrons is not the internet, but everything around it, like the dark matter in space between stars. Within that space lies the presence of every electronic device, connected with one another by undefined distances, and we are on the brink of discovering what untapped potentials lie within it, reaching closer and closer thanks to the graphical user interface software we’ve written to view it, currently in alpha. However, it also redefines security and vulnerabilities as well, and as such this project requires great patience and study.
  • Vehicles
  • Automobiles: This subject has been near the start of McIntyre Tech’s run, directly influenced by the drive to remove fossil fuels from use. After the resounding success of the long-lasting MonthCharge battery engine, research is now looking into creating hovering vehicles.
  • Aircraft: We are hoping to resurrect concepts that never saw the light of day in previous generations, or others that were once popular but ended in disaster. These include development of the ornithopter for manned flight, and the return of the passenger zeppelin. Like cars, we intend to make these vehicles safer, more reliable, and more resource-efficient than previous planes.
  • Spacecraft: Funded by NASA, our research in this field has largely been focused in development of higher-quality space probes, improved communication sattelites, experiments in artificial gravity creation, and development of the faster-than-light drive.
  • Thank you for choosing us for your technological and/or cybernetic needs!
