I am back!!!!Did another shoot this afternoon... Much of it was a failure. I think most of my best shots from this setting were done with the previous shoot... Poses were more dynamic and generally better then. I haven't got enough of posting from the previous shoot yet, but this one from today caught my eye.
There really aren't many salvageable pictures from this shoot though... Will be posting more from the previous batch soon. This picture was inspired by [link]
Edit: Wow, views on this just exploded but there are no faves... I am thinking that people either see this as too vulgar or too abstract.
Which is it? (Or, gasp, are the belly fats to blame? LOL)A square crop with just the lines would also be really nice... Maybe I'll post that one day.

I was instantly drawn to this photo and I think the photo is amazing. The shape of her ass and the reflection on the floor are stunning. The girl parts (and the belly fat) are beautiful and the angle is inspiring. The pose is kind of awkward and I don't like the hairy legs.

The folds make you look modularized, though that effect would be strengthened if the one below your belly button were darker. Perhaps you could adjust the lighting a bit, make it more directional, a bit harsher?

love the whole composition of this, although the raw look of the sexual part is a little too out there for me.. but that is based purely on my own personal taste.
I think vertically (and tilted to the left slightly) this would be great also, although a little of the abstractness will be lost, a different more erotic element would be accentuated, especially in this pose and with the wetness. Theres so much you can do with your pics, you must have a lot of fun with them!

yes ,the hair and the gaping, but that whole pubic region is in such stark contrast to the 'abstract side', it draws attention to itself,and when you look closer you see the feet on the tiled floor, then you realise what the picture is and so you turn your head to see it in its natural orientation..which i personally find easier to look at.
So if the point of the pic is to expound the abstractness, then theres a lot that can distract you from that, not saying that that's a bad thing

well i dont know about still making the picture abstract, but yes, its lovely how the lines flow and converge to the right.. I like how the shape of the compressed breasts combine and blend with the rest of the comp..
But you know what I have just noticed? that whole inner shape/form between the outer leg lines appears to me as being quite phallic in appearance! with the pubic region forming the phallic head, tip and eye,and sliding down toward the bottom right of the picture, and if you crop the pic at the left so all the lines touch the edge, and crop out the feet just to the right of the butt, well...

Something else interesting (I don't know if it's abstract) is the darker tone of the pubic region... it rather has this 'bam' effect

yes, the bam effect, thats what i meant by in stark contrast, but having said that, if you crop out this "realistic" section, would it still be as an interesting picture? im not sure..

i'm not bothered by explicit, and the cropping adds interest for me. but, frankly it appears that she just peed, which is a bit of a turn-off, especially in the context of dA. i certainly wouldn't report this, but that is the impression i get.

As You know, I'm not put-off by "explicite".
Problem with this image is that for it to be a kind of abstract, graphic-like, it needs to be perfectly symmetric, not tilted as it is and I'd prefer to see it vertical. Likewise, I'd leave only a hint of lower legs (half - sidewise - of what is shown here!).
These improved, it'd be a really good one!

I have a slightly different interpretation of abstract images, and feel that symmetry doesn't require the pictures to be completely horizontal or vertical. Am thinking that you mean a square crop (starting from the left side) would look better, and I would agree... that would be a totally different picture, with a different subject and form of abstract art.
