Description
I wanted this oil painting (on canvas 60 x 90) to be a representation of ‘ life’, and the ‘time’ we get to live it.
I think life consists of moments in time, a bit like a puzzle.
At sad moments some pieces of the puzzle seem to be missing…
At happy moments I wish that that moment in time could last forever…
but sadly…
time moves on…
So I just try to make the best of it, before it passes!
Yet, it always seems to pass too quickly.
I've never spend more 'time' on a painting than on this one , but I'm happy I did!
“Time is the most undefinable yet paradoxical of things; the past is gone, the future is not come, and the present becomes the past even while we attempt to define it, and, like the flash of lightning, at once exists and expires. “
~Charles Caleb Colton

Very great concept !! I love the symbolique and the colours are wonderful ! This is a piece of Art Sis !!
Every piece of the puzzle makes live worth living. They each build up our 'Book of Life' and make it so special for every individual.
Although not every moment is a time of happiness or as nice to live in - it are just those moments that make the happy and nice ones so peculiar we want to cherish them and look forward to experience them again and again...

Indeed...!
Pitty enough there are some 'flaws' in this 'piece of art' , luckily not seen by many
... it needs improvement..so back to working on it!
