Description He's a real nowhere Man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.

Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me?

Nowhere Man, just listen,
You don't know what you're missin',
All the world's at your command.

He's as blind as he can be,
Just sees what he wants to see,
Nowhere Man can you see me at all?

Nowhere Man, don't worry,
Take your time, don't hurry,
Leave it all 'till somebody else
lends you a hand.

Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me?

very interesting composition. nice contrast of red balloons against a somber gray sky. the scuplture composed of letters is an airy, ethereal rending of "Nowhere Man" -- good choice of words to portray this shot.

The downside of this piece is the sky -- it is too nebbish. while i realize the muted gray clouds could infer "nowhere" -- it also brings a "meh" tone to what could have been a very riveting piece.

Your work usually portrays cerulean skies of infinite vastness. That could have worked well in this photo. The red balloons would have contrasted just as well against a vivid blue sky.

A dramatic stormy sky could have worked also. You could try working this sky with levels to pull some drama out of the clouds.

Your work is usually absolutely perfect and always riveting. I love it.

This is a flawless composition with a flawed sky.

I am very impressed with the impact and originality of this piece. I thoroughly enjoy the photographers ability to attract viewers through composition, perspective and colour. The skill of the photographer is clearly evident here and the photograph is well focused and balanced.
I would however point out that the magenta tinted sky tends to detract from the balloons. Therefore I'd encourage the artist to use a second layer using photoshop and use selective colour tools to isolate the statue, hedge and clouds. Once isolated you could use a cooling filter or desaturation to eliminate magenta hues.

Very well done!

i think you already know that in case of composition this piece is pretty perfect, with the positiv connection between the red baloons, and the dark vegetations making this still photo more dynamic.

for me the red ballon behind the sculpture looks like his heart.
for my vision, it was a good way to bring more life in the sculpture.
after about 3 minutes looking on the picture iev realized that the flying baloons are also in the hear form. its also a good touch which makes the picture interesting, and gives a lot of space for interpretations.

one of the best pieces that iev seen here on da for a long time.

i thinks it was now one of the longest comments during last years here on dA (last sentens was writen to reach 100 words)

P.S: sorry for my english.

compared to my assessment -- it makes me realize there are many ways to view a piece.

I would still use levels to darken the sky a bit. I tried it in photoshop on my computer and it looked pretty good.

Ahermin's work is always brilliant and thought provoking. It is usually just stunning -- completely visually arresting. that aspect is lacking in this piece due to the sky, as I mentioned in my critique.

Still, gnato loves it! chaque a son gout!

I vote for your modification of the sky.... it will create a darker mood and vision and I am for that.

yes it would be a possibility with the darker sky... in my opinion it would not be as natural as in original version.

that is true, but it never stopped Ansel Adams from dodging and burning drama into what are considered among the best black and white nature photographs in the world.

The artist uses time and tools to capture creativity.

i think 100 words are a little bit too much, but its not bad limit, because if you want to write 100 words you must really look close on some photo.

perfect... I wish the baloons in his hand was not heart shaped ! just a single baloon would give the effect of ''sharing'' more maybe... its just my opinion... the way you created the man is really perfect

this photo is really well done, although I'd enhanced the contrast, for me it is a bit too grey.
Well done!
