Description
The sounds of play in the lush green field came to a sudden stop around Candace as the young European Dragon horse Sunny and the two Hototo foal Rosalee and Hinto quickly lost interest in the owner of the stables. The large palomino hototo mare standing watch over her foal and the two others at play raised her giant head in the direction of the dirt drive that led past their paddock. She flicked her ears forward and snorted abruptly at the sound of an approaching vehicle.

Candace got her knees from lying on her back in the cool grass as the three foals nickered and whinnied and move to stand close to the mare as the noise grew louder and a dust cloud could now be seen rising into the air. As Candace rose to her feet Nessie came up behind her as a tuck pulling a trailer came to stop in front of the paddock gate.

"Hey stranger." Came the deep and dark velvet soft voice as the window rolled down to reveal Tommy behind the wheel.
Candace frowned a bit as he gave the cautious mare a reassuring pat on the neck before moving towards the truck and trailer.

"I thought you weren't due back for a few days." She asked him as he got out of the truck slamming the door closed behind him. "Everything alright?"

"Everything went surprising well actually. So we came back early." He was referring to the fact that he had been out on the hototo breeding request with Ahern stable's own Hototo Stallion Nennir at another stable that wanted to use him as stud. "Plus I got you a surprise while we were gone for our week."

Candace eyed him as he moved along the trailer towards the back doors. "Am I going to like this one? You didn't do anything like Seth did you? Not that it wasn't a nice gift, we were just lucky that Nessie here actually took to the poor foal." She was of course referring tot he bright yellow European Dragon horse colt that had be orphaned and bought from Silmes Dragon Stables the before Tommy had left with Nennir.

The creak of a door crying to be oiled could be heard as Tommy pulled it open and stepped inside the belly of the metallic beast. His voice echoed out in mostly empty interior, or so she thought. "Nope nothing like that." Was the reply. The echoing boot clad foot steps came to a stop and all was quiet for a minute or two. Then all of a sudden the trailer shuddered as a loud clang rang through out it, followed by another. The trailer rocked with each clang before a thump was heard as what appeared to be a fur covered hoof hit the dirt behind it. The trailer pitched a bit as what a appeared to be a great wait exited the trailer and it no sat a little higher off the ground. "I actually think you are going to really like this one." He voice could be heard before she could see him coming around the trailer with a lead line held firmly in his hand.

Tommy gave a little chirrup as he spoke softly. "Walk on girl. nice and easy like now." And slowly from behind the trailer emerged a giant white horse. Head held high and ears alert and flickering back and forth listening to the sounds around her. A blast of hot hair was given from her dilated nostrils as she snort showing her slight nervousness. She pelt shone in the sun and sparkled along her black lined white stripes, as faint white glow hung around her massive frame.

"Is that..." Candace didn't even get to finish the question before Tommy nodded moving the big girl to the paddock gate. "She is." He smiled before continuing on as Candace opened the gate wide for him as he lead her into the paddock.
"A rare hototo at that. They call her a Diamond White White. Though they aren't sure if she is a pure or not. But still she is impressive all the same." Tommy gave her a warm rub on the neck as she lowered her head to sniff at the grass now under her feet before starting to nibble at the tender shoots. Her eyes watched the palomino hototo and the 3 foals that stood slightly aloof trying to figure out if the new horse was friend or foe.

"but how?" Candace asked again.

Tommy smiled as he explained that he had heard of the horse auction for the hototos that was going in at Rosendal Stables, and so while he left Nennir with the hototo mare at the other stable after making sure everything was fine, he headed out to auction to see what was there and well you can guess the rest.
"She cost a pretty penny, but she is worth it to me. I just simply fell in lover with her. I called her Ash by the way." He stated calmly as he began un-clipping the halter and letting her want her off a bit from them before stopping to graze again. It wasn't long before she was off again thundering across the paddock towards the mare and the three foals to make a greeting. Tommy continued as the horses began to introduce themselves. "Her registered name is Aska which means ash hence how I got Ash for her."

The both stood in silence for a moment before the whinny of Nennir and the stomp of impatience reminded the pair that big stud was still in the trailer. "You're right," Candace stated as she turned to look to Tommy. "i do like this surprise. But you had better get Nen off loaded before he destroys the trailer out of boredom. I'm going to stay her and watch how things go a bit longer before leaving." She took the halter and lead from Tommy's hand and smiled. "Just to be safe, I don't want anyone getting hurt."

Tommy nodded and began heading back to the truck. "Sure thing. I'll see you up at the house later then."

Candace nodded as the trailer doors groaned shut and Tommy hopped back in the truck. "See you in a bit." She called out to him as he fired the engine up and let the truck roll easy on up the drive. A small could of dust followed the trailer as she watched them go, then turned back to watch the five horses at play as she sat back down in the cool grass.
