Family :

Her mother was a slave in the Rakashan empire, she didn't know her father at all. She doesn't have any siblings to her knowledge.

Friends :

-Efrit is a fire spirit with who Sephora lives since her childhood. Before becoming Efrit, he was a young slave boy named Ahmad. Efrit acts very protective over Sephora and wants the best for her like a father or older brother would, despite him being younger.

-Sylfe is a wind spirit who lives with Sephora since her childhood just like Efrit. Before becoming a spirit she was known as Tahira and was a slave girl. Sylfe loves to comb Sephora's hair and is mainly her emotional support, Sylfe is always there for her and always tries to keep things stable when Efrit and Sephora are arguing.

-Phrixa (Gulisa later) she met the Tiefling in her former guild, back then she had difficulties forming bonds with people, she was wary, yet her and Phrixa became rival and friends, they were often sent on mission and treasure hunt together until the day Sephora ran away from the guild

-Kusami, Sephora enjoys teasing the half beast over her fluffy appearance, calling her "warm blanket"

-Delta, surprisingly, Sephora opened up quickly to the teenager. Like Sephora, Delta has a gift and is sensitive to spirits. Sephora grew attached to the girl that was reminding a bit of her old self when she was herself discovering the world and her gift. Sephora acts towards Delta as a big sister.

Story

-childhood : Sephora was born a slave, her mother trade her own child to a high ranked "nouveaux riches" family in order to earn freedom when Sephora was 5. Before that she was no stranger to violence, malnutrition, seeing death around her was part of her daily life. After her mother abandonned her to slavers she met with Ahmad and Tahira, the three of them become friends and lived the same life of misery. After 3 years of struggle, wounds, punishement, Tahira got sick and the children heard rumors about her being executed as she was no use and would contaminate the other slave. Sephora and Ahmad agreed on running away in the desert in hope to find a better life beyond the dunes. They fled with their sick friends but were unprepared for such a travel. Tahira died first due to her weak condition, her will to live was strong enough to allow her to live on as a spirit, then Ahmad died stepping on a dangerous scorpions, unable to accept how weak he was, he was reborn as a spirit too. Sephora on the verge of death collapsed in the sand and got luckily rescued by Phoenix worshippers.

Between 8 and 11 Sephora lived with the monks at the temple, she lived a simple yet peaceful life. Efrit and Sylfe at her side. Witnessing her friends death and being taught spirituality subjects, she earned the ability to see spirits and communicate with them. Sephora developped a gift allowing her to link herself to spirits and borrow their powers. As her life there was stable, one day a party of adventurers came, bringing with them an army following their track. Among the travellers was a cursed living wooden doll, Sephora grew naturally attached to the doll as she never had toys before, despite her nasty look she wanted to be her friend. The temple got destroyed by the army, Sephora accompany the adventurers to another town, an harbor. The doll convinced Sephora to come with her at her mansion, which the child agreed.

Sephora lived with the cursed doll during 2 years. Sephora was naive and innocent, the doll was well aware of that and was manipulating her friend, abusing of her kindness. Sephora wasn't allowed to leave the mansion and forced to play with the doll, the said doll would not hesitate to wake Sephora in the middle of the night to play. The young girl was getting bored of the mansion now she knew there was something bigger outside the walls. However the doll saw her will to go and explore the world as treason and disobediance, as the doll was threatening her to turn her into a toy, Efrit went berserk to protect Sephora and set fire to the mansion, and the doll. Sephora got her feet, legs and part of her arm burnt as she tried to escape the flames. Heartbroken, she denied the death of her friend and pretended it was just a goodbye, and she would visit her again after living adventures.

-Teenage :

Having nowhere to go, she used a portal near the mansion to go into another universe, she had no idea she wouldn't be able to go back. There she had to cope with hunger, barely 13, she had no qualification, as a stranger and Orphan she was no one and she had to force herself into theft to survive. She was disgusted of stealing, it was against what she's been taught at the temple, but hunger forced her to do so. She got caught multiple times, thanks to her spirits she was able to get away most of the time, however the guards would have no mercy on a child, it arrived several times Sylfe or Efrit couldn't react in time and Sephora got brutaly beaten in public or put in jail in the middle of "fauna" a young teen doesn't want to meet.

She eventually got better at stealing and fighting with time and experience. Her vision of life evolved and she understood she should live her life for herself, no one would help her there, she began to enjoy the thrill of being pursuid and escaping in the last minutes the guards and soldiers she was meeting. One day as she got put into jail, she was 15, she got noticed by a certain Aulea, she introduced herself as leftarm of the shadow guild. She made a deal with Sephora, completing a mission in exchange of a safe place to stay and a guarantee of food. Sephora accepted and went on her mission to free Tieflings prisonner working for the army. That's how she met with Phrixa. Phrixa and Sephora joined the guild, the two girls learnt how to fight properly, Sephora improved her agility and athletic skills. Her spirits allowed her to get quickly noticed by the highest ranked member of the guild, she was a good spy, thief, and was enjoying thrill and wasn't afraid to go for the dangerous missions. She was also beginning to have a name among towns and even other worlds as the guild had contact with more advanced worlds.

Aulea was becoming envious, she set a trap to Sephora (she was aged of 19 at that moment) and badly wounded her. Efrit and Sylfe used the maximum of their abilities to save their friend, Efrit was such in a state of rage nothing but ashes and a totaly chared corpse was left of Aulea. Sephora stole her traitor ship and left the guild for good. Now with her new found way of transport she began a life of bounty huntress and tomb robber.

-adulthood :

She kept following her path and drawn the attention of quite a lot of people, she also extended her network of contact to lots of collegue. She became wary and nearly unable to bond with humans anymore. She was living for her own goals, following her sole envies.

at 24 she met with Kusami and her "crew" and began to slowly build more trust in people. However Delta was the one that broke her armor of false indifference and helped her feeling better.
