I ended naming this after my livejournal's title, but the original title was "Under the Red Moon". I wanted something a little cutesy and fun, and so I ended up doing this one. The whole pic has a lot of symbolism. First off, before I get to explaining the symbolism, ignore the beach, I just wanted an excuse to put her in a swimsuit. Well, now that I think about it, it isn't really symbolism, more like...little things about the character that I put in.

First off, if you notice, she's not wearing a headband at all. The thing that points out to show her affiliation, well, ex-affiliation in this one's case. She wears the little sound note thingy on her bikini to show she WAS a part of Otonogakure. Her nails, and her ring are obvious Akatsuki symbols (the ring is Orochimaru's old ring, btw), but the moon was the hidden one...since Akatsuki, the direct translation, means red moon. The mark on her arm is something that's hidden in all the pics, and is the symbol of the dragon god she summons.

I like the moon, and the shading effect on her, but that's about it. I hate doing backgrounds, and you can see why. The ocean and sky seem a little flat.
