I didn't really see it at first when I started the game, but after finishing the game and replaying the level it was really obvious
at first I really just thought that Carpenter just had a flirty personality, which he does, but at least him and Alice have actual conversations (if you know what I mean) but then I realized there’s that one part where for like 3 seconds he gets somewhat choked up, talking to her.
and as you said earlier it is super cute that he calls her 'dear' when they first meet
and he risked his life for her, (I always hated that, why didn't he just move her and then move himself as well, if he had enough time for that monolog he had enough time to move, also wouldn't the theater by like falling apart? if he wanted to provide a greater protection shouldn’t he forget about the train and protect her from all the falling wreckage with his body?)
oh well...im sure my friends will come to there senses

Especially with the modern day thing, I mean I think that there cute in the 19th century but now youve put tge idea of dates, and movies, and cute texts in my mind and its just as if not even cutier.

tell me! I got a little obsessed with him, he was defiantly the most cheery person in the game, he made me laugh the first time I saw him, the idea of having a happy character in AM;R was foreign to me.
also he loves theater and im a total theater dork
I like the thought of Carpenter always loving on her and Alice just passing it by as his normal behavior, if only he would kiss her, maybe that would open up her eyes
