Physical Appearance: First thing you notice is her stunning two-tinted eyes that Buka has. She could be mistaken as a male as she's growing what seems to be her own mane. She is quite scruffy and is quite tomboyish just like her mother was. Alongside two brothers, she only knows how to play rough!

Buka is really smart and is there for her friends and family members. She can make a plan quickly and follow through with it, usually taking all the quick decisions in split seconds.
She's brave and fierce, thanks to the qualities of her mother. She knows no fear and is always the first to try something out without thinking of the consequences of it. Buka is very talkative and will not shut her mouth if she thinks she's in the right.
She is daughter of the Leader of the Lion Guard and Buka is well aware of it. She thinks it makes her a bit higher than other cubs that are not of Vitani or of the Queen and King, below them. She has her own will and will not conform to any rules, which gets her in trouble more times than not.

  Buka was born from the Leader of the Lion Guard, Vitani, and an unknown father. She was named this after Nuka, which had a similar sound, but just meant something different.

After Kiara had her cubs and they started to grow, Vitani started to feel those maternal hormones kicking in. She was not ready to settle down just yet though, she had not found any male or female that she actually cared to stay with or want to settle down for, but she still wanted at least cubs. One day she was out into the freelands between the Pridelands and the Dusklands where she met Kimya, a healer from Usiku Pride. They were nothing alike but he seemed like a good male and as some would say opposites attracted. They met a few more times, and that was it, luckily for Vitani, she managed to get pregnant! She decided not to tell Kimya about the cubs as he was no longer in Usiku --he had followed Kion to form a new pride somewhere-- nor anyone in the Pridelands also knows. Even though Buka's fur color is close to her father's (as is her siblings) there is no real evidence to show the connection.

Vitani is currently just telling them their father was a good lion. and nothing more. This frustrates Buka a bit as she wants to know her origins fully, not just half of it.
