Description I've found myself needing one of these many times in the past when dealing with characters of (sometimes greatly) differing heights and sizes.
It is an important feature of any character, and the proper attention to the differences adds greatly to their dynamic and interaction when portrayed accurately.

I speak specifically in regards to the Samurai Duelers League and other similar character-driven groups here on DA. Many people like having characters in the physical extreme, and even more describe their characters as being above average. I, myself have characters both unusually tall and uncommonly short so I certainly am not criticizing anyone in that area so long as they're accurately portrayed. And in the case of "Real World" settings adhere to real world issues and restraints.

Do your research, please.
The most enjoyable characters are the ones with flaws that balance out (if not outweigh) their positive or beneficial aspects.

*Data about the worlds tallest man came from the Guinness World Records official website and the Wikipedia "list of tallest people" entry.

It might help some to include the Metric conversions in there. I know it's easy enough to google that, but if someone is going to have this as a quick reference, it could help.

All you've done is take one figure and change their size. Heads will usually stay the same size in people of different heights but limbs will be longer. This is bad reference and will affect your work poorly.

I'm pretty sure this is really just for height.

Now that I think about it, there comes a point pretty quickly when being tall switches from having an advantage to having a horrible center of gravity and being terribly clumsy compared to a more compact fighter. Still, I think groups like the SDL give a lot of leeway with the term "realistic". I will rue the day I have to explain how the physics of Klaus's backpack work.

Yea.
Hahaha, that's a good point about the backpack. I'm in a similar boat with Punch & Duke's pile o' stuff, though I've been meaning to work them getting a cart into the story from the beginning. :/
I can only criticize with a grain of salt as I've bent a few physical parameters with Punch in the past... at least concerning SDL. When she's her original werewolf self, like in RitS, "reality" falls to the wayside bowing to badassery. But even then she has a multitude of flaws.

And wearing/carrying the over sized backpack is one thing (better that than just pulling stuff out of some 'bag of holding' aka nowhere), it's not like Klaus has superhuman strength. It's a fairly well balanced device for other aspects of his character.
Or at least that's how I see it.

I think there's a place for overpowered characters in OCTs and leagues in that they allow for more "under-dog" fights. Though those types of characters are always hard to write well as it's hard to have an interesting fight and show that your character is a super badass. Unless your character only fights other super-badasses, then his own badassness would become an informed ability when you try to make fights balanced.

In regards to Klaus's backpack, it used to make more sense when I would draw the larger weapons sticking out of it. But then I slimmed the design (a.k.a. got lazy) and now there's supposed to be an arsenal of weapons inside it which includes a halberd that's taller than the backpack. The only thing I use to justify this is that Klaus is more comic relief compared to my other OCs (minus Zainiba who is the most extreme).

I should mention that I'm not tying to pick on the SDL or anyone in it, it's just the group I am most familiar with.
