Description
This is an experiment. I know that tree-growing algorithms are common, but these are the result of my own short program in Processing . As they are neither the most photo-realistic trees, nor as abstract as some of the forms from my other algorithims, I hope these strike a good balance between natural forms and brush-stroke appearance. Please give credit where credit is due, and let me know if you find them helpful.
If you're interested in the source code, send me a message.
[Edit] Thanks for all the downloads; I'd love to see any work you do with the brushes.
Suggestions?
If you have a moment, I wonder what you think of the thread I started in the forum .

Just out of interest, what language did you use for writing your program?

Interesting. But did you misspell "electrons"?
My pet electron would be very upset to hear that his kind are being abused like this.
The program was written in Processing - essentially Java, but with built-in drawing tools so you can skip the more monotonous bits of coding. I put a link to Processing's page in the description.

Yeah, I did misspell electron, and noticed it about 5 seconds after posting. Hate it when that happens, and now dA refuses to let me change it. Quite annoying. Thanks for the link too

Wonderful brushes, thanks you We'll be able to put them to good use. And yes, I think some more "abstract" brushes would be very well received!

Thank you. Think some more "abstract" tree forms would go down as well?

They're lovely and, to my untutored eye, very realistic. Just wish I was arty enough to be able to make use of them!
