Description
Wow. This took a bit longer than expected. I've been working on Flowtools for about 5 months now, have redesigned the website four times, and have generally never been pleased. This one will work I think, for several reasons. The layout, in my opinion, is attractive. It is colorful and I feel the green adds a lot to the design.
The structure is well-organized, such that the design follows eye tracking patterns.
It is reflective of the Flowtools attitude, presence, and will match a marketing campaign, entitled 'Discover Flowtools.'
It is fairly easy to navigate and find your way around based on the top tier navigation.
-
The struggle in finding the right design for Flowtools was a great one. I needed something that went with the theme of 'Discover Flowtools'. I needed something unique, elegant, powerful, and at the same time, fun.
-
In case you were wondering or couldn't tell from the design, Flowtools is an AJAX Framework/Library.
-
Additional info: The background image is a combination of over 12 stock photos, a LOT of painting, and some 3d renders. If enough people like it I will release a wallpaper.

Hey thanks man, and thanks for the fav as well. I really appreciate it. I'm looking through your gallery, the CPU layout header is pretty sick man.

Looks great, Yes I want a copy of that background as a wallpaper..
The design works on many levels, site navigation is definitely clear and easy to follow. The layout is well structured and the overall design itself is very cool, almost mysterious with that background blended in behind it all. Everything just flows in together perfectly.
Looks like it's made for joomla, but maybe it's just the layout style. Do you plan on using a CMS for this or you have something else in mind ?
There's only one small thing that I could point out which you could fix up and thats in the text for what is flowtools", second last word. Irresistibly. ? lol, Honestly I couldn't really find a fault anywhere else.
Keep up the good work.

Hey mate, thanks so much for the comment and critique. I appreciate it greatly. I'll upload the bg as a wallpaper in a couple hours, need to make it proper sizes.
As per your question regarding CMS, it was designed with ExpressionEngine in mind. EE is one of, if not the best cms I've ever worked with, as far as scalability and power are concerned.

Great work Alex, the design is eye candy. All the hours of hard work you put into this over the past five months definitely seems worth it.
