I understand people thinking it's LMS related. Dan Luvisi is an amazingly talented artist and so are you. The styles look similar but hey so did the styles of many famous renaissance artists back in the day. And in the same way many manga art looks similar in style too. It doesn't mean that they all copied each other. This look has been around for a long time.

The painting looks sick but if you are going to emulate someones style and character so heavily you should credit. All of your pieces have elements lifted from Dan's art but with no mention.

What style exactly is she emulating? Everyone has been inspired by someone at one point, inspiration does not = emulation. Btw black helmets have been painted since ages ago

Dude, I am a big fan of Dan's but, people are going crazy with everyone and everything is copying Dan. Anything with a black helmet. It's getting overdone like being PC. Nothing is Original Everything is Inspired.

Hey, man I don't know if that was a response for me or to the person I was replying to. I wasn't saying anyone was copying I was saying exactly what your saying. It seems like everyone is accusing everyone of stealing or copying Dan's art which is not true. They may be inspired but, just because there is a black helmet and guns does not mean it is a copy. People were accusing Pacific Rim of stealing and I was rolling my eyes.
Of course, you were most likely replying to the original post so then I repeated myself for no reason. Seemed like maybe you misunderstood my stance.Like I said Nothing is original everything is inspired.

True. I usually will let an artist know if their art is being used by someone. Hell, I taught myself to draw and paint copying Larry Elmore, well pretty much any cover artist of Wizards of the Coast (back then TSR) to hone my skills. I am still trying to develope my own style.

I'm not saying the painting is a copy. Emulate means imitate. His artwork looks like a redesign with a personal touch, off of Dan's work, which is awesome. It's clear with the she hex looking piece that he is inspired by Dan. He even uses the Armatech logo Dan uses on his pieces and his piece "Style text" is inspired by Dans "Lust" gallery. You can see on each piece which of Dans paintings he was using for inspiration. That is why I was wondering why no mention of the artist that most of his work is directly inspired by. I joined the art community on website where we credit artist that heavily inspired us. To me it's a way of saying without this persons work my design wouldn't be what it is today. Obviously our inspiration comes from multiple artist over years but his work is heavily inspired by Dan and I guess I'm just used to the fanart type work having a description about the piece so when I come across art like this I expect a mention which I guess is a learned expectation that not everyone has. I poorly worded myself in the first comment, I do like his paintings.

so everybody has to say each time they paint something inspired by this artist and this artists made with this pencil and with this tablet and listen to this music..?? dude what are you talking about?? if thats the case every artists should name the Old masters !! everybody learned something from the old masters and with the female space girl.. he clearly stated that he is inspired by ARTMAGIX.. who are you to say by which artist he really is inspired or not..?? this isnt a fanart.. so stop being a asshole man..
