There are Three Worlds, easily defined:
* Civilization (Memetic)
* Planetary (Genetic)
* Universal (Astronomic)

It's easy to point out Civilization. Driving into a city, the fluid unshaped Planetary world becomes rigid, and gains the sharp angles of mathematical geometry of streets, buildings and wheels. It's unmistakable. Even a bird's nest is a rough part of Civilization.

The rules that the world of Civilization is built on no longer apply in the Planetary world. Explain to a bird that it should stay within the borders of one country and the next (which may not even be marker) or tell the rain to stop falling when a street light has turned red. These simple pacts and agreements that form "civilization" have little meaning in the Planetary world... you can only shape the Planetary to match that of "civilized" rules.

The Planetary rules, such as what goes up must come down, you have to kill to live and even rain falls on one side of a mountain--all--have no meaning in the Astronomic world. What goes up keeps going up. Fain does not fall, because there is only "towards" and "away" for directions. Here, there is no such thing as "cold"--only absence of heat.

The Reality Principle is one of the two most powerful foci for meditation, right alongside the Taijitu. Using it, the dualities that keep a spirit locked into one "ideal" of a world--one perspective--can be broken through and objectively raise the spirit to another perspective of the world.

Such a change in gears for an individual is the source of the ideal "in the world but not of it". One who sees the Planetary while standing on a sidewalk within the Civilized is no longer in the same world as most others on that sidewalk... and rarest is the Universal spirit.

The Reality Principle is a powerful key when picking the locks that veil one world away from the next.
