So, I'm kind of embarrassed to post this because it's totally unprofessional and shit. But still, it's here, isn't it?If there are any questions:
No, I'm not a professional. At all.
I haven't been to any art-schools or anything.
Anything in this tutorial is stuff I've picked up on my own, partly from reading other tutorials.
No, I don't know what I'm talking about.
Painted and written by me, yes.
Made on Photoshop CS5, yes.

Thank you! The basics really helped me get my foundations in the correct order. I have been struggling to create unique monsters of my own, but to no avail. Complicated designs won't suffice, because if you can't master the basics, you're in for a lot of trouble. Half the time, I didn't know what I was doing, and I often used references from game guidebooks, other artists' creations and such and it really didn't make me feel good about myself. I was stealing their ideas! D=
Thank you for sharing, this helped soooo much! I want to incorporate anthropomorphic features into these monsters, and before I was feeling quite iffy about it, but now, I'm more confident. Thank you so much!

Being able to help is the most gratifying thing! Im really glad you liked it! This old guide was kind of an experiment because I wanted to make something helpful, and I'd really want to do more when I feel confortable that I'm not accidentally sending anyone the wrong direction.

I found this to be amazingly helpful. As it turns out, I need to have a good monster by Monday. What I came up on my own was crap. This is perfect timing! Thanks so much for being so informative. I feel like I can take what I did and make it 1000 times better now. I was pretty stressed, but now I'm confident.
