It was revealed that Patrick and Karen is talking with none other than Prof. Harry Evergreen (Rachel's father), along with his assisstant Dr. Claudia Reyes and his mentor, Prof. Emmet Bernstein. He was trying to convince Patrick to leave this forest as he showed him a green stone (suspiciously similar to our Rangers' Hero Stones), explaining it was glowing like crazy when they arrived.
