Like his father before him Rangi is a sociopath. He doesn’t feel emotions and liked to kill small prey for fun from a young age.
Charming: Rangi struggles to fully understand other’s emotions he has inherited his father’s smooth charm, he uses his looks and charm to trick manipulate others into what he wants them to do.
Intelligent: Rangi has a high IQ and has an amazing ability to problem solve this allows him to better manipulate.
Strong: even as a cub Rangi was strong, able to hold down his siblings and as he grew he is strong enough to hunt for himself.
Lawful: Rangi believes in civic order and being in control but only so he can exploit the current system, he will enforce the rules on others but only so he is seen in a good light.
Manipulative and Cunning: Rangi doesn’t recognize the rights of others and sees his self-serving behaviours as permissible. He appears to be charming, yet is covertly hostile and domineering, seeing others as instrument to be used. He enjoys dominating and humiliating others especially his brothers.
Narcissist: The World revolves around himself and Rangi sees himself as someone who is superior to others and entitled to things but he actually has low self-esteem and craves his mother’s approval

History:

Rangi’s biological mother Molek came into these lands after fleeing her homelands with her elder sister, the two were welcomed into the Mwanzo Pride and tried to make a new life for themselves. Due to their family being murdered by males the young cub loathed anyone who identified as male, she didn’t feel like she belonged in the Pride so set off to make a new life for herself with Rubi.
The two soon became best friends and Molek vowed to protect her from the sociopath Reoh, together the two had scared him off when they were merely teenagers. However Reoh was obsessed with Rubi and vowed that if he could not have her no one could, he stalked the females and after attacking the white female, rendering her semi-conscious he forced himself on Molek. She found herself pregnant with cubs she did not want.
Three months later she gave birth to the monster’s cubs, including Rangi. She couldn’t stand to look at them and it was coincidence that Morowa was there to help Molek give birth. When Molek rejected the cubs Morowa takes them and raises them as her own alongside her own son, Bakari. Morowa is the only mother Rangi has known, he craves her attention and wants to be a crown prince, he doesn’t understand why she and King Kato are reluctant to put him in charge.

Since his mother and family were overthrown Rangi has become a wonderer, he longs to find his mother and work with her to reclaim their lands whether that will happen is a different story...
