At long last I can upload this picture, over a year after I made it. There's a story behind why I had to keep it secret, and it all starts with my character in our local Pathfinder Game dying.

Alligator Zaur , my awesome half-orc ranger, had recently bit the dust. Throat sliced while paralyzed makes for a quick and effective death. The other party members wanted to bring me back from the dead, but because of our limited options and money all they could afford was a Reincarnation spell from a friendly NPC druid. The druid took a small piece of the body and the recently bought oils necessary for the ritual and headed out into the nearby jungle. I had decided that if Zaur gets reincarnated into a cool new body, I could keep on playing the masculine and burly ranger with little to no problem. However, as the ritual was complete, Zaus found himself in a tiny, ugly, weak goblin body.
Me, being disappointed by his recent death, simply decided that I didn't want to play a "crippled" ranger. Zaur took his Animal Friend and left into the jungle to make peace with his new existance, and I made a new character.

The thing is that me and the GM played out the ritual in secret, and decided that if my new character died I could come back with the old one if I wanted. After a day or two I was over the death and realized that I'd actually want to play him, goblin or not. So I drew this great picture. One of my best works and an homage to Frank Frazetta. But since I didn't want to spoil the surprise for my friends which race he reincarnated into, I couldn't upload it!

One of my best works had to be kept secret. And secret it was, for months and months.

Yesterday, during one of our many Pathfinder sessions, my new character was (ironically) paralyzed and slain with no possible hope of return. Another character had bit the dust, but the moment for me was bittersweet. As the other characters went back to camp to tell the terrible news to our friends, an old one had emerged from the jungle riding his trusted Allosaurus Animal Companion. I could finally show my friends the picture I had drawn over a year earlier.

And here it is, finally.

TL;DR My character was reincarnated as a goblin, and I kept this picture secret for over a year not to spoil the surprise for my friends.
