I agree about the promotional images not showing the full potential, this character obviously has.

I’ve mentioned in one of my earlier comments that the handcuff slipped into the scene last minute as a substitute for a jewelry bracelet. I like the opportunities, this opens up for follow up scenes.

Your image made me think of an iconic B&W (like most of his work) portrait of a young woman whose face was split by the play of daylight and shadow. I posed once for a fashion commercial remake of this image, I'm sure you'll find Boubat's image.

As you’ve mentioned, so many of Boubats images are considered iconic.  

I’m afraid, I couldn’t find one (or too many) that would resemble your description. But, of course, I trust your verdict about the similarity.

She has something angelic, hasn’t she? 

However, I’ve also had camera angles, where I found her sort of androgynous. At least her face. Her body doesn’t leave any doubt.

The bracelet slipped in last minute and I agree, it leaves us with something to speculate about. I’m pretty sure, I’ll come back to the complete jewelry being used.
