EmberAsh casually strolled through her clans' forest, night had already descended upon her before she had even left camp. The sleek, fluffy warrior walked on quiet paws through the foliage until she heard loud chirping from above her. In a rather large tree she could clearly pin-point the large robins' nest. She took note of the position of another near-by tree whose branches crossed the robins' tree, making her way to the thinner truck she stretched out her claws, pulling her weight up the bark with careful paws, making only small sounds as she scrapped her way up the trees' base. She panted as she lifted herself on a low-hanging branch, her long tail helping her keep her balance. Seeing the nest just out of her reach she began her way up a few more of the trees thicker branches and into thinner ones. Once she had gotten high enough she crossed onto the other tree with ease, her eyes darted to the ground, which was quiet a ways down. EmberAsh picked her gaze back up at the sound of wings beating close by. Picking out the nest she could see a father bird returning with his beak full of worms. Taking note of her footing, her balance, and the close-by branches, she huddled down, her chest fur spilling over the branches as her claws unsheathed once more that night. She steadied herself, watching the bird feed her plump chicks. EmberAsh took a few deep breaths before she bunched her muscles and pounced forward and down, feeling the air rush past her cheeks as he descended upon the unsuspecting family. Her claws collided with feathers and she quickly ended the birds life with a swift bite to the neck, and a sharp snapping sound. Her mouth full of feathers she looked at the chicks before hearing the sound of faint wing beats and decided to leave, not wanting to come face-to-face with a protective mother bird. After picking the limp father robins' body in her jaws, she easily jumped down the tree branches and made a small scrape on the tree truck to remember to return for the others birds after a few moons. Her jaws held the bird steady as her sleek figure disappeared into the dimming lit forest foliage.
