*PLEASE VIEW THE HIGHER RESOLUTION IMAGE*Sorry I haven't posted in a while everyone.
This is Birthday present for: I made titled "A Fly In The Dark". It was requested I include wings in the picture, and the rest was up to my imagination. So the concept of the final picture is that of a superhero type character with pyrokinesis wandering through a scifi scape. I wanted to evoke a sense of wonder of what reason he might have for producing giant wings of fire, and perhaps also make a viewer wonder what could have made such large webs

first, congrats for the DD, you deserve it!
Well, for some reason, this reminds me of egypt(really dunno why), he's in a desert place, probably full of monsters(giant spyders?), fire wings...Maybe a way to keep him safe? I can't help but wonder.
Also, if you don't mind me asking, which tips could you give for someone who wants to paint fire? You did a good job, it really looks real, so I wanted to ask...

LOL, I really like your imagination
For fire, I suggest looking at a lot of reference pictures to get a feal for how it behaves and looks. You can also take a look at my WIP (I posted a link in the description), I used just the basic soft brush presets in photoshop along with the smudge tool (sparingly), and just worked at it developing a style along the way. Hope that helps

What makes this piece so intriguing apart from other subjects with 'fire wings' is that the fire appears to be emanating from his hands! Incredible concept!!
