There is a house in New Orleans

They call the rising sun

And its been the ruins of many a poor boy

And god I know I'm one

Story:
It was still early in the morning as horses snorted and riders yawned. Alicia was rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she leaned on the stall door. Because of the show being a three day thing Rising Star Farms had let some riders stay in extra stalls and such. Seeing as The gang from Victory Rose Stables was all the way from Washington State they stayed the night.

In the stall the woman leaned on a large white head popped out. The ears pricked at its rider. Star, the ten year old ex race horse, snorted and nibbled Alicia's hair. She gave a sleepy chuckle and patted his muzzle. "I know, so early huh big guys." The stallion snorted and lowered his head slightly.
Alicia started to close her eyes, falling asleep in place. She was given a rude awakening as Stars head shot up and let out lose a wild whinny that echoed though the barn.

"ahh!Star! That was right in my ear!!" The woman half yelled in shock and half whined. She looked up to see what caused the stallion to call out. Standing a few feet away, looking like they where about to die from holding in their laughter, was her boyfriend. James was holing a cup of coffee in one hand, as the other held him up on the stable door. "Yes, laugh at my pain. Very funny." The woman teased, a smile creeping over her lips. Star nodded his head, as if to say hello to the man. He gave a chuckle and shook his head. "Sorry to wake you two babe." He handed her the coffee. Well it was more creamer with coffee in it. But hey thats how she liked it.

The gift won the man a sweet kiss. "Thanks baby. It's gonna be a long day." Alicia and Star where entered in the early morning round of show jumping. And by early morning they meant the sun wasn't even up yet.
"Come on, we better get you and Star ready." James nodded to the stallion, who was trying to steal the coffee.

It didn't take long for Alicia to tack up the stallion. Luckily in this show, she didn't have to wear anything to fancy. Blue jeans, boots, a helmet and one of James hoodies, then she was ready to go. Star was wearing a mix of his good tack and some of his more conformable trail ridding tack. Not wanting to add to much to the stallion already James and Alicia gave him some purple ribbons to stand for his stables.
This would be the first bigger show the pair would be entering in. They had trained off to the side but Star and Alicia where still new to the bigger shows.
The sun was just starting to peak over the mountains when they started their class. Some of the jumps being old boards made into a rundown looking jump, others just being covered in old tarps.
One jump that made the horse and rider take a double take was a large fish tank. In side was a old fake shark.
"Wait, they have a Rosie the shark jump?" Alicia said in slight amusement as James tipped his head. "Weird but alright."
The class was stated simple, until Star went at the shark jump. They would be in fact jumping the shark.

Not a long story but something. I really wanted to do a kinda thing for Rosie The Shark. A very cool video and story If you haven't seen it I would highly recommend looking it up. Big ol shark .
This drawing took AGES. I couldn't get the black rails to look right then the face and ahhhgg XD Happy its done though
