Description Updated 22/02/2011

Major Change
-Replaced unit "Waiting Time" with "Summoning Cost"

-------------------------------------
Basic Game Rule
-------------------------------------

- There are 2 resources type in this game. The first one is ADAM and the second one is EVE.

- ADAM is the the goal of this game. You start from 0 ADAM and will gain more ADAM whenever you deafeated any enemy unit. The stronger unit card that enemy has, the more ADAM points you will earn when you destroy them. If you gather enough ADAM to reach the goal point, you win the game.

- EVE shows how much you can do action in each turn. Whenever you summon unit, order attack, activate skill or cast support card, you have to pay EVE for each action.

For example, if you pay too much EVE in your attack phase, you may not have enough EVE to defend or counter enemy attack in defense phase. You have limited EVE per turn, so use it wisely. Both of player's EVE are going to be fully restored in the beginning of the next turn.

- There is one six-sided dice in this game with 6 diffrent faces; 1, 2, 3, 4 and other 2 faces are *(star symbol). The dice is thrown in attack-defend action between two units or when activate some skill. This is one of main variables which give your low level unit a chance to defeat tough enemy if you have better luck than them.

-------------------------------------
Attack Type and Battlefield
-------------------------------------

- There are 3 unit combat types in this game; Melee, Range and Caster

- There are 6 lines in battlefield, 3 for each player; Boundary, Frontline and Backline

Boundary
------------------

- Boundary is where you can place your "Field Card"

- The Field Card can't be attacked by unit or normal attack. They can be destroyed by the some effect from support card or some ability/skill from unit card.

Frontline
------------------

- May refer as "attack line"

- Melee units have to be placed in front line if player want that unit to perform attack action.

- Melee units can't attack enemy units in backline if opponent player have any unit in their frontline. (In other word, your melee units must defeat all enemy units in frontline before they can attack backline.)

- Range units can choose to attack enemy units in both line (frontline and backline) if they're placed in frontline.

Backline
------------------

- May refer as "defense line"

- Melee units can't perform attack command if they're in backline

- Range units can only attack enemy units in frontline if they're placed in backline.

-------------------------------------

Wow... this will take some memorizing to play... Oh, well. If I learned the Pokemon card game as a kid, I can learn to play Blue Frontier, too XD It seems like it would be lots of fun

Thx, Katie-Sama.

Btw, this game is not stable. So feel free to suggest, add or modify game system.

Will there be a PSD template available for download? Also perhaps a text file to give general area ranges of different unit types to use as a guideline? Such as a big daddy or the different splicers?

Hee... Little Sister swarm. As seen in Bioshock 1.

Ok, very nice.
only some holes to fill and it may run right. (never know how many holes one has when making a card game)
the first one that got me was buildings and occupying them. what happens with that and what the point of trying to destroy or occupy them?
the second that got me was the dice. in order to keep it simply as possible make it just a 6d and say odds and evens effect the out come or you have to roll so high.
next is the tern that the player has to do, how, when and in what order does a normal tern take place.
and just lastly how does the player know how much eve they get?
thats all the suggestions I have other wise its very well put togher.

Thanks, for the comment. There are still a lot of holes and some system need to be modify until the game become more stable.

1. The diffrent between destroying and occupying is building owner will lose the card if you choose to destroy. However, if you choose to occupy building, the card will not be destroyed but you 'll also receive effect of the card instead of enemy only.

2. Sorry for my poor English skill, I still confuse abouth this one. Could you explain it again?

3. I'll try to write about player turn and phase. Btw, the max EVE that both player will have per turn might be around 7.

If you have better idea or suggestion for system + gameplay feel free to post it ;D

and Thx again

"the second that got me was the dice. in order to keep it simply as possible make it just a 6d and say odds and evens effect the out come or you have to roll so high."
ok Ill explain this agean... I think this is the one you meant. it no problem at all.
Im saying instead of using the dice that you describe just use a normal six sided dice for the rolling.
oh and make shour you edit the Da's description so the new info fits into it. other wise its very good all thats needed now is the cards. should the club make cards as well or are you going to outline the cards? I think if the club made some cards as well it will get people more involved.

Oh I already understand your point right now.

Yup, my dice that I will use is six-sided dice as you said.

However, instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 point in each side, I will replace side 5 and 6 point with star icon. (That means max no. on the dice is 4) The stars symbol on the dice side = 0 point. Though some cards have special abilty that you can only activate them only when you roll and got star icon.

I'm planing to upload outline card for anyone who interested can participate in card making too. After I submitted my recent university homework. ^^
