So my daughter wanted to cosplay as Rey for comicon. The problem was we didn't know if she was going or not, so I didn't invest time or money into a costume for her. When it was finally decided she would go for one day, con was already 3 days away and I still hadn't (haven't!) finished my own list things. My husband ran to Goodwill and spend $15 on 2 belts and a bunch of fabric (most of which I didn't even use). We also reused old clothes. This ensemble took about 3 hours to throw together. It's not perfect, but hey, she's 9 and will only wear it for a day.
