Description
What do you see?P.S.
Oh, I found the part of the program that changes the color of the knots. And the help file on how to use it. But the people who wrote it are even worse at explaining things than I am.
P.P.S.
Trying out somthing new with the changing lengths of string. Does it look ok?

Looks like an angel...
Or, looked at another way, a spider in the middle of a web.
I like the circle thing. the weaving pattern is cool, but the variance in the width of the orange/yellow string makes the circle feel offballance, because the areas where there is lots of thick string aren't symmetrical and don't really line up or form a pattern or anything. If you could get it to make a steady pattern around the edges or be symmetrical, then I do think it would look really awesome.
And the loops shading from yellow across the spectrum to red is a cool idea, but the dark blue fades into the background a little too much and makes the green/yellow loops circling upward stick out. The dark blue and purple circling loops on the inside also fade a tad too much; they're sorta hard to see against the dark background.
This one also seems rather 2D; possibly the loops feed into a funnel shape going toward the hole in the middle, but the spacing between the loops doesn't decrease toward the middle, so it doesn't much look like that. Then again, if you want it to seem like a spider, maybe it was supposed to be flat like a spider web.
heh, I don't feel quite as stupid.. I found the help button first, but didn't understand enough of the terminology to figure out what they were refering too..XP ah well.
I woulda told you, but I figgured you'd found it already sorry.

^^ oh, I didn't see the spider
hmm...
yeah, you're right.
Now I have to figure out more of how the string thinning thingy works. Even in the help all it says is "play around with it" (my responce= "Thanks, thats so helpful, never would have thought of that SARCASM")
yeah.....
sorry
I didn't try for the 3D yet cause I got really frustrated and rather then smashing the family copmputer into tiny pieces I did somthing easier
sorry
Yeah, same here...
IT'S SO COMPLEX D8
I did, but the one I found wasn't the one on colors.
I bet it's all really simple and were just both being really stupid and one off these days someone else is going to be like, "Oh this is how you do it" *click
and then we'll feel really stupid.
Although that person might have to be God.
It's fine^^
and...
I still haven't really figured out the colors
but I'm getting closer!^^

yeah^^
(was the part I liked best)
I started with 3D too, but It didn't go so well so I switched to the celtic with 2D cause it was a good place to start.
I found the colors!^^
I figured it ou, I did!^^
so....
with the little black box thing you click on it then type "color 1 blue" The "1" is the number of the component, which is determinged by the order in which you build the components starting with 0, the "blue" is the color you want the component to be changed to. You can choose white, red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, pink, and black (the ones I've found so far, anyways) or you can make your own color thrugh hexidecimal coloring.
Hexidecimal coloring is like this
#ff0000 is red
#00ff00 is green
#0000ff is blue
#ffffff is white
it's basically a # then two didgets to determine the amount of redness, then two for the amount of greenness, then two for the amount of blueness.
the didgets are like this:
00
01
02
03
...
89
90
91
...
99
(not sure how the inbetweens in this part work exactly
aa
ab?ba?a9?
...
bb
...
cc
...
dd
...
ee
...
ff
hope that helps.

me too. I only saw the spider after staring at it for five minutes or so trying to critique.
celtic does seem easiest to work with.
Yeah.. not so much the second part, but the first part, deffinitally.
I know how to save things and re-load them, but I'm not sure where they're saved or anything like that..
And I tried getting a screen shot by doing the ctrl /alt /print screen, but nothing happened.

oh
ok, then
Me either, but the saving and loading works.
You have to press all three at the same time, and you have to pasteit somewhere else. Paint works best.
