Description
After referencing the Anu with the previous four aliens, here’s a full depiction of one. I took a lot of inspiration from Sumerian and Egyptian mythology in designing these guys, even naming them after the supreme god in ancient Mesopotamian religion.

To expand on this race’s lore a bit, the Anu were a race that ruled the galaxy for roughly 2 billion years before mysteriously vanishing. Regal and towering in appearance, they may have been interpreted as deities or other Devine entities to more primitive species. They are renowned for their many achievements, most yet to be achieved by the current four space faring races. It can only be speculated what could cause such a powerful species with a galaxy wide empire to just disappear. Before disappearing, however, they left behind several artifacts scattered throughout the galaxy and a final transmission for all who can receive it: “Our inheritance is yours for the taking, but you’ll have to find it first.”
