Description
Being required to do 5 digital sketches for homework each week, I decided to use it as an opportunity to redesign my characters from one of my head projects. In this case, I'm doing the characters of Ascension, a sci-fi novel concept inspired by the UFO phenomenon and research results from the abduction research group I.C.A.R. (the International Community for Alien Research) This is commander*, a tall grey who was involved the abductions of the main human character in the story, Jayden Anderson, and received a bruised eye when Jayden suddenly awakened his abilities as a kid. Though a simple heal, Commander retains the bruise as a reminder of the one time he underestimated an abductee. Stern and serious, he is the crew leader of the experimental starship TR-3 Black Eagle under the authority of the light being Overseer.

*Most of the aliens don't actually use names for themselves as they are primarily telepathic. The labels are created to be convenient for humans they interact with.

This is my character, do not steal.
