Description
This is Janida, a conceptual character pitched to me by a friend for my conceptual animated series Zakiyah of the Lamp. She is a true Djinn (never human like Zakiyah and Jennifer was) who was sealed away but accidentally released. Mischievous and Sassy, Jandia harbors a deep resentment towards humanity and seeks revenge against them. I won’t share too many details but she is linked with how Zakiyah became a genie which in turn ties in to her revenge plans.Her design is heavily inspired by one of the genie emoji’s 🧞 so I might tweak her design a bit though there are elements I really like such as her short hair, sharp teeth, and differently colored eyes.
