Description I can't remember the last time I completed a new Proxima B life piece. Well here's a new one featuring some of the technologies of the Proxima Centaurians. There's a mix of primitive a modern tech with some elements of Polynesian and Paleolithic designs.  Now for some description:
Being active hunters, the technology of Proxima Centaurians is mostly comprised of parts of the animals they hunt.  Some of their earliest tech are huts and clothing made form Snow Shovelers.  Traditionally they used spears made from Fans and arm mounted crossbows but they eventually recognized meteorites that liter the inner areas of the night side as a valuable resource.  Over time, they developed hunting knives and spear riffles to make hunting more efficient.  Proxima Centaurians who migrated inward to the planet's dayside crafted boats for further exploration of their world.
If everything goes well, I'll create a segment talking about the culture of the Proxima Centaurians.

Great to see more Proxima B stuff. ^^

On the "mix of primitive and modern tech" do you mean to say that their technology has advanced a fair bit in some aspects but remained fairly "primitive" in others, or are you referring to differing degrees of technological development for different Proxima Centaurian cultures?

To a degree yes.  Part of the reason is that the solar flares that regularly bombard the planet tends to interfere with uninsulated electronics so even though they have the intelligence to develop it their environment prevents Proxima Centaurians from actually developing electronics.  There is a difference in technologies depending on which regions the PCs inhabit.  It actually becomes more advance (as it can get) the closer to the inner region they get.  I didn't add this but the PCs that colonized the inner region developed steam and more advanced forging technologies thanks to the constant exposure to heat.  I may expand on this more when I make a page about their culture.
