Description
Here are some more angles of my Bulbasaur figure .
You'll just have to ignore my finger in the little middle image of the base. He wouldn't stand on his own.

You did an awesome job with the colors on this one, they're spot on! I've never tried colored clay because I'm afraid I would waste too much then have lots of colors I'll never use again, haha. But I love his expression! So hopeful and ready to start an adventure!

I tend to just smoosh all of the extra mixed colours I don't need into one and then use it as a core or base inside another model so you never see it. I know some polymer clay people turn the extras into jewelery.

Hopefully I'll have Charmander to complete the group made soon.

He turned out even better than the squirtle, tho theyΒ΄re both really cute. I think what you did particularly well is how the legs slightly bend when viewed from the front, it kinda reminds me at certain dog breeds

I agree that he turned out much better than Squirtle.
Just Charmander left now. I've left him until last for a reason. I think I'm going to find him the most difficult.

Because of the flame and because it's going to be difficult to hide the seams. I'll more than likely bake him in stages and when I add new clay to baked clay there is usually a visible patch of slightly dirtier clay where the two meet.
We shall have to see.

Thanks.
I smooth my models off mostly with my thumb and then I brush over very lightly with a small amount of nail polish remover which removes any remaining fingerprints. It has to be the kind with acetone in it though. If you get the stuff without it then it won't work.
Bulbasaur here hasn't actually been smoothed as much as I would normally do.
