We had one of these in my yard when I was little, but it always filled up with water, which made it no fun to swing in.
I like all of the different textures you've captured in this piece--the rocks, the tire, the chain, the leafy ground and plants in the background. It all comes together in a really nice way, and the composition is beautifully balanced.

I hate it when they're filled up with water... thankfully it rarely rains where I live. And I never really noticed the textures but now that I look back on it, it really does come together in a nice way

Children are amused by the most mundane things.
I love the b&w here...great shadows too. The length of them makes it look super lonely. Usually people will take pics of tire swings with kids on them...but this looks really forlorn. It's great.
