I have always been a fan of commercial halloween products, specifically branded Halloween products and one of my favorites growing up was the McDonalds Halloween Campaigns with McNugget toys and Pails. Heck, I even had the VHS tapes of all the different "movies" which were awesome to 10 year old me. Growing up you still fondly remember those goofy things but they are extremely rare now. Most Halloween products are either very generic or branded from some movies or tv series. I miss those days of branded mash-ups for different holidays.
So in doing some research over the years, I have discovered that Japan's McDonalds tend to do the Halloween branding and create goofy fun foods and advertising. So this is a mash-up of all of those.
The Nugget, Fries, and Burger are from American McDonalds ads recreated as vectors because their original quality was very low. The Ghost, Witch, and logo come from Japanese McDonalds Ads. I vectorized all of them from the adds, edited them up a bit to complete the design or make it look spoopier. Designed a stripe pattern based upon the McDs Red and Yellow.
So this is my tileable pattern based upon those designs.
Honestly, I'm not a big McDs guy but I really love some of their advertising.
