Background

Cheetahkit's parents were a young couple, that were close to braking up after a dispute. Then his mother realised she was pregnant. Unnamed, the tom-kit's father, thought of she-cat's as weak and needing protection. Cheetahflash's mother's, unnamed, personality didn't help that. She was a meek and shy black and white she-cat. Cheetahkit's sister(s) proved his father wrong.
As a kit, Cheetahflash was bold, blunt, arrogant and brave. He often persuaded his littermates to play truth or dare, almost always responding with 'dare'. The exception being when he was dared to say 'truth' the next round. One time, his sister dared him to go into the medicine den and eat some herbs. Cheetahkit, never refusing a dare, did so. He picked some delicious looking berrys. Dovesnow, the medicine cat, screamed "Cheetahkit! No!" Unfortunately he had already eaten one, and was attempting to wipe the terrible taste off his tongue with his paws. The tom-kit was stuck in the medicine den for a few days after, and was itching to get out. He swore he would never enter it again.

Cheetahpaw was apprenticed to Beachsky. Since his little episode in the Medic den, he was nervous and cautious of everything. His mentor tried her best to get him to be more balanced. The young tom never drew that close to his mentor, but did make a few friends in the apprentice den. Beachsky is a cream coloured she-cat with brown tabby markings on her tail, ears and legs. She has a very determined and firm spirit, and often accidentally pushes cats too far. She is very fast, but her agility could use some work. Cheetahpaw picked two things up from her: his speed and firmness. It was this time that Silverkit was brought in, he fealt terrible sorry for the young kit. Mother killed by father, father killed by uncle. Cheetahpaw didn't get too involved, but he had an urge to. As Cheetahflash, he feals he should have.

Cheetahflash earned his name alongside his siblings. He earned -flash for his incredible speed. He took on Bramblebriar as an apprentice when he was old enough. When Silverpaw became the medicine cat apprentice, Cheetahflash felt even more sorry for him. Nevertheless he watched his progress with interest. Cheetahflash subconsciously became Jelous of the young medicine cat, he felt useless when his friends and clanmates got hurt. He had never set paw in the medicine cat den after his incident as a kit, but he was very curious about and drawn to the herbs. The last straw was when Heatherrose, his friend, died of loss of blood. Cheetahflash could not be pulled from her side as cats rushed backwards and forwards, unsure what to do. The medicine cat was at the moonpool. She died before Silverwolf returned, no one knew what to do, so Cheetahflash decided he would learn. Silverwolf accepted Cheetahflash as his apprentice and brought him to the moonpool the next quarter moon. Cheetahflash has grown close to Bearsong, the deputy.

Cheetahflash dashed off and quickly soaked somed moss in a pool at the back of his den. He quickly mixed up the poltrice and grabbed some cobweb." He dashed back to bearsong, quick as ever. That was what he had got his name for, being quick to treat patients. He licked Bearsong's paw pad until he could grip the stone firmly. He gripped the thorn, and quickly pulled it out. Cheetahflash then grabbed his small piece of moss, and pressed it into her paw pad, cleaning all the blood and dirt off it. He then dabbed the mixed pultrice into the hole that the pebble had made and around it. The medicine cat grabbed his cobweb and thickly covered the pulp-covered wound with the cobwebs, so no blood or pus gets through. "Alright, just stay off it for a few days, make sure to get some apprentices to make your nest soft with feathers and anything they can find." You should make a clean nest of moss, feathers, fern and heather in the medicine den for a temporary nest for the injured patient. "I'll Put fresh cobwebs on the wound every day or two, so come back tomorrow."
