Well, 4 looks the best, in my opinion. That is, considering the anatomy of most EVAs, and the way this particular eva looks when we see its face. ...Part of it, anyway. I love the way you did the "berzerk" teeth, and neck structure, especially. But, you should combine features form a few of the other previous sketches. Keeping #2's smoothed out skin, and chin would be wise, combined with #3's undersheet, for his armor, and using #3 and 1's mouth locks, you would have a great image. Consider the way it looks on unit 2's mouth (#8). That would make sense when she goes berserk! Great picture, though.

The only real issue I have with your eva designs is that I don't feel like some of them could restrain the evas. They still look awesome though. 02 forehead is always really small in the, her brain is squished.

I like best the number 1, it feels more "balanced".
Btw, i like also the drawings number 5 & 9 because they are more accurate and proportioned in my opinion.

Hm..I like the teeth of no.2 and the one in between no.5 and no.6..and maybe no.7 too. I cant really see it distinctly enough but I think you put a good balance for the jaws to not stick out too much or to not be too simple that the viewers might missed it.
I like the design of no.4, although from the side view lost some of it menacing looks (it looks more heroic instead). Maybe its the jaw. It seems too high, the separation between the upper and lower jaw I mean. I really like the neck area in this one.
I kinda like no.9 too, except for the jaws..since the teeth sticks out too much. Same with for the others which have similar feature of the jaws.
That and I prefer the jaws to have similar curve or shape like in no.9, 6, 7 and 2. Jaws like in no.3 looks awkward for an Eva and doesnt look as menacing as the original. It looks more like a caveman version of an Eva, which is not good for an Eva.
Looking forward to see no.4 with the backpart drawn. It might be interesting to see if that part would give it a unique feel or look to it, since no.2 looks more similar to the original (maybe because of the modified back part perhaps?). So yeah, my vote goes to either no.2 or 4.
Perhaps you have a new set of designs coming in later? If so, it might interest you to try and combine the front design of no.9 (with exception of the jaw) or maybe no.7 and the upper part of no. 2 or 4. The jaws..well, it would be either no. 7, 2 or 4. For the neck gowith no.4. Of course, you can use your own idea too, as my ideas may not look good for you

amongst 1 to 4, I like 3 the best.
however, I like 8, 6 and 5 more than any other.

I would say number one, the reason be is while the rest of them all have cage on them the first one looks like it's striped of its armor or cage whatever you would like to call it, making it seem more raw in my opinion.

They were all going to have the "cage" eventually. This is just about the face section mostly. But if thats a direction you'd want me to go with Neon Project E-005 then that'd be interesting.

I liked two, though I'd like to see what it would look like with the hexagon[?] skin pattern of 3.
This was kind of tuff since the redesigns were all at different angles and sizes...

Please, some design changes only to a person with a certain angle in mind. All the designs looked splendid and if you can replicate them more power to you. Still when comparing I like to see things in the same light. Just makes for a more fair and balanced critique.
Keep it up. I must say I never really thought that evas could really be redesigned and still feel eva. Thanks for proving me wrong so spectacularly.

You have seen Neon Project E2 and Neon Project E3 ([link] and [link] ) These are part of it. I want to make my own version of the Eva series (not as in the story but the produced units) And this is the Fourth style. E1 were the Anime and Manga renditions and E2 and E3 were just out there and now its E4.

Oh so my decision should only be affected by the chin and face plate areas of the head sketches?.......I still like 2 most but right 4 has cool eyes and a cool neck. So would Sketch right 4 later get the back of it's head covered later with some redesigned armor?
