well, its been a while hasn't it? been really busy with my school assignemnts especially since my final exams are right around the corner. i've been really crammed for time but managed to sneak in a little artwork. did this one in about six hours, alot was just adjustments as usuall. i could say that this was some more star practice but it came out exceptionally well, in fact you could say its one of my better works in general. i added that flare stripe to represent a solar flare eruption in the camera lens, it helps added a little more to image and i don't mind it, but what do you guys think about it, should it stay the same, get modified or go completely? on the last point, i tried removing the stripe but it looks too empty. again, i would like your opinions on this. on the two planets transitting, they do add alot to the image and may not necessarly be venus and mercury, i just decided to add them. all in all, it came out pretty good, i plan on doing another one like this soon.

so please enjoy the artwork! and remember that comments, critques and favs are welcome and appreciated!

It looks great, but the strip could be a little shorter. Also you can see it at the center of the sun, that could be fixed.
Certainly one of the better sun pictures, but the flare does need to be made a little wider and shorter. It doesn't look right yet, but I don't think it should go. Blurring away the part where it shows through the sun is also needed. Other than that, its perfect.
Certainly a far better sun than I shall be drawing any time soon.

I need to fill up the confounded minimum word requirement now.

This is very good but the Sun is actually more yellow than red in real life. Nice, though.
