Ok, another Star Wars pic this one is one of the friends of my Jedi character i did before. Once again, used pencil and ink, then coloured digitally.

Story - A young mercenary at the time of the battle of Geonosis he got on the republics radar when he was found to be working for the separatists. Jedi padawan Nara Shann and her master were dispatched to find him and capture him. When they arrived on the remote world that they believed him to be stationed on Nara was separated from her master. She inadvertently stumbled upon an unsuspecting Shaw. While attempting to arrest him Shaw tackled the jedi padawan to the ground, and crushed the communicator she was about to use to notify her master. However his attack stopped there as he insisted the jedi remain quiet, as nearby a separatist droid patrol moved past amidst the undergrowth. Once the danger had passed he explained that his contract with the separatists was not what he had intended, and had he known the man making the proposition to him was Count Dooku he would never have accepted. The two made their way back to Nara's master and explained the situation. Trying to get off the planet they were ambushed by separatist forces, in the fighting Shaw was shot. Nara managed to use the force to pull him to safety and the trio escaped.
After this they returned to the jedi council and Shaw was able to give the republic strategic information that he had learned in his brief and unintentional employment. In return for this Shaw requested a posting in the grand army of the Republic and was granted the rank of Captain. He became a close companion of Nara, travelling with her on missions around the galaxy. He repaid her saving his life with unwavering loyalty and friendship during the war, ultimately saving her life when order 66 was given. The two became closer still after nearly being executed by the separatists, and shortly after became lovers. The two then went on to fight the Galactic Empire together.

A skilled marksman and tactician, he was gung-ho and impulsive, receiving promotions for his success just as quickly as he got busted back down for disobeying orders. His risk taking and higher initiative levels than the clone troopers gave him a distinct advantage over them when they turned on their Jedi generals.
