Description

Out of the night that covers me,
     Black as the pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

      For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

      I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

      My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

      Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

      Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

      How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the master of my fate,
     I am the captain of my soul.

     This is a very late Valentine's Day/Anniversary gift for my person, sleepyninjachan ! He's one quarter bald eagle at heart, so I drew his character Ryuu being all honorable and stuff XD My SO has always liked my sketches, so I tried to incorporate the original sketch into the picture XD; not sure how well that turned out... but tadaaah!

Lol I've been running pretty behind on all my other projects, so this is the first thing I've actually been able to complete... AAUGH I'm not entirely happy with some of the effects in this, but I can't afford to redo this damn picture anymore... Hopefully you guys like it too!You may NOT:
