“Sh-shut up, Lars. I’m not in the mood to banter with you.” He leaned tiredly against Lars, letting him lead him down the hallway toward his chambers so that he could recuperate. “But I have to say, it’s very convenient of you to show up after the battle.”
“I was taking care of other business, you know that,” Lars replied, feigning offense. “How was I to know you were getting your ass kicked by a bunch of mortals?"
